Fusilli is a type of short pasta, the name of which comes from the word "fuso" (from Italian "spindle"). They have a length of 30 mm and a diameter of 13 mm. Fusilli are made by fastening three strips of dough, which are twisted in a spiral. Due to the voluminous shape of the spiral, it perfectly holds any sauce on the surface.
